Each personalised bottle is made from 67% recycled materials overall (predominantly 90% recycled stainless steel) and is fully recyclable at end of life. Including a silicone carry loop and an anti-leak lid made from BPA-free virgin plastic that also doubles as a cup. The base is made from Ocean Bound plastic collected at one of Ocean Bottles’ partners’ sites in Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya and The Philippines. It is collected by local communities from rivers, waterways and their surrounding area in exchange for money, which allows them to get access to social sources such as healthcare, tuition and financial support. Every bottle you purchase improves their lives and the world around us in countless ways.
Ocean Bottle also offsets 4.88kg of carbon (per unit sold). Each Ocean Bottle is entirely carbon neutral to the point of dispatch.
